Charleston Event

So last week I had the opportunity to head to my favorite city and assist an event firm with a rather large scale event. And can I just say, oh my goodness! The event was for a major corporation and it was hosted at The Sanctuary out at Kiawah. I cannot even begin to put into words how beautiful it is out there! After registration and a cocktail reception held at The Sanctuary itself, guests were transported via trolley out to the Ocean Course Clubhouse (which they had completely rented out) for their dinner. The theme of the dinner was the Ryder Cup. I normally don't go into my "work" (I hate to even refer to it as work, because I get so much pleasure out of it--most of the time!), but ladies, if you are ever looking for an amazing backdrop for an event this is definitely something to take a look at!

Another stop for me while in Charleston was at Cupcake. I wanted to bring some treats home for the family and once again these didn't disappoint! I now know why the Red Velvet Cupcakes are there best seller!! I didn't have the chance to do much shopping, as the rain was making it's way, but still it was a great, quick getaway for me. Nothing like a walk alone on the beach to collect your thoughts and a drive around the city smelling the Charleston air to refresh you!

The Sanctuary is paradise as far as I'm concerned. Have only stayed out there once but had to wonder why in the world we'd ever want to go anywhere else. It's gorgeous AND close to home!

Happened upon your blog via High On Hairspray (both local girls). I have to tell you I love love love the picture of you and CJ Spiller, and I also am jealous that you got to chase "coach" to get a picture. (Aren't you glad we don't call him "Head Ball Coach" - so lame)

I am a true, die-hard, loyal, etc. etc. tiger fan. I am at every game, win or not, I love my boys!!!
