Explaination

Ok, I think I should explain the post below. My BIL thought it would be funny last night to pick on me from across the country. I tried to explain to him that my keyboard is my sword and that I would make certain to get back at him on my blog, but he threw caution to the wind and proceeded forward. HaHaHa!! Now the truth of matter is that I love Sweet P and he knows that I was just picking on him. As far as the name calling, well that's a whole other story. All I can say is, hug a soldier. They deserve it and do far more for us than you will ever know.

Oh really BIL!! You and that gimped up hand. Bum Thumb. You know who you are and what I'm talking about!! Don't mess with me!!

Rumor

Word on the street is the "Lady" is going to be getting some work done soon! All together now, "Thank you Jesus!". Because if you know the "Lady", you are aware of the fact that she is lo-o-o-ong overdue to get touched up. I'll keep you posted.

Progressive?

I'm sure some of you are beginning to think how "progressive" our family must be to tolerate this relationship between Hubby and the "Lady". I, however, look at it as more of a practical stance. It's a win-win situation for us all. She has been a reliable companion of his not only on many of his travels, but for many life moments. She has been an unjudgemental listener of his rants regarding work, and let's face it, she has probably heard more than her fair share regarding the Wife and kiddies. She has remained faithful to Hubby never letting him down. She has gotten him out of my hair when needed and accompanied him on more travels than I would ever be able, or care, to do due to our day-to-day lives. So, for all of that, I am thankful. Now, don't get me wrong. If the "Lady" ever pushes me too far she may need a new grill after I get done with her.---Looks like she needs that thing cleaned anyway!!

Not fair

So, Hubby and Old Faithful stopped over at good ole' Ruby Tuesday's today after logging in a couple hundred more miles in the week long travel fest. What makes this so extremely fabulous in my mind you ask? Well, let's see. Oh yeah. My children and I ate flippin' McDonald's for dinner tonight! How did the kiddies get so lucky to have such a nutritious meal? I.am.tired. Too.tired. Dog.ass.tired. Why? Because the youngest got up at 4:26am. Yes, you read correctly, 4:26AM--as in the morning!! All the while, Hubby and Old Faithful are resting peacefully at a hotel far, far away. Life.is.not.fair!

Morehead City

Hubby and the "Lady" headed to Morehead City yesterday. They arrived at their hotel around 11pm--leaving no time to enjoy a dinner out! HA!! I would feel sorry for them, but considering I was here at home with his two children, well, I don't. I'm sure it doesn't matter anyway. After logging over 400 miles I'm sure they both needed their rest--I know the "Lady" sure could use some.
